Lena Franklin, 31, is a seasoned music marketing executive with a decade of experience shaping the careers of top artists. She began her journey at Sony Music’s College Marketing Division while earning dual degrees in Music Composition and Business at Tulane University. During this time, she connected artists like A$AP Ferg and G-Eazy with student audiences while also gaining A&R experience under Grammy-winning producer Salaam Remi at Louder Than Life Records in New York.

In 2016, Lena joined Interscope Records under Universal Music Group, contributing to over ten platinum records for artists like Kendrick Lamar, Summer Walker, and Rich The Kid. Her expertise led to her appointment as Vice President of Marketing at Def Jam in 2021, where she spearheaded major campaigns, including Pusha-T’s Billboard #1 album It’s Almost Dry and Alessia Cara’s projects.

In 2022, Lena stepped into her biggest role yet as Head of Marketing at Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), overseeing strategic rollouts and brand partnerships for one of Hip-Hop and R&B’s most influential labels. She continues to push culture forward, playing a key role in the rise of stars like Doechii, ScHoolboy Q, and Isaiah Rashad and more. Her ability to seamlessly collaborate with talent continues to set her apart as a top leader in the music  industry.
